Burial + Four Tet + Thom Yorke - Ego / Mirror (2011)
Burial , Four Tet , Thom Yorke.
Sincer sa fiu in toata "lista" de mai sus, personal pe mine ma intereseaza doar primele 6 litere :)
Vazand prezenta lui Burial in titlul noului mini-release, nu am mai stat sa observ pe Four Tet si Thom Yorke. Si cu toate ca imi place mult creatia lor, atunci cand merge vorba de Burial... "все умерли" :)
Probabil daca nu ar fi atractia nesanatoasa fata de el, blogul asta ar avea mult mai putine formatii postate, pentru ca in ultima vreme formatiile necunoscute si albumele noi le-am descoperit in urma refreshurilor si cautarilor de noutati legate de el.
Anul asta o sa apara albumul comun a celor de la Massive si Burial.. "imho" cel mai important eveniment din luema triphopului dar si a dubstepului pntru 2011.
Pana atunci , savuram 2 piese minunate si ne invatam sa fim rabdatori :)

F misto albumul. Ceva mediu intre Prodigy, Chemical Brothers si Asian dub foundation :)
Bine..exagerez. Insa Hadouken! chair au reusit sa scoata un album calitativ intr-un stil in care doar f. putini reusesc sa imrpesioneze cu adevarat.
O surpriza palcuta a fost si faptul ca vin la BEstfest la vara in Buc. Intuitia imi sopteste ca prestatia live nu va fi mai proasta decat albumul :)
"Hadouken! are a indie/electro band formed in 2006 at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom by vocalist James Smith (born 1985) and guitarist Daniel “Pilau” Rice (born 1986). After forming their own record label, Surface Noise Records, in February 2006 Smith began writing and demoing the first Hadouken! tracks. The band was formed in October 2006 with Daniel Rice’s brother, drummer Nick Rice (born 1988) and James Smith’s then girlfriend Alice Spooner who plays synths. In December 2006 they added bassist Chris Purcell (born 1986) to their lineup.
In February 2007 the band released their first record, a two song vinyl with the song “That Boy That Girl”, which gained mainstream popularity after the video, directed by friend Bob Harlow, made it onto MTV2. Shortly after the video, the band added bassist Chris Purcell. After releasing their 12-track mixtape “Not Here To Please You” on November 12, 2007 featuring originals and remixes, the band returned to the studio to complete their debut album Music for an Accelerated Culture. This featured nine new songs as well as the single “Liquid Lives” and was released on May 5th 2008. It achieved reasonable success reaching 12th in the UK album charts.
In mid-2009, the band recorded their second studio album, For The Masses, in Holland with drum and bass producers Noisia. The band described the new album as being different, both lyrically and musically. The album was released on February 25th 2010 and did not have the same success as their debut album, receiving generally poor reviews from critics and reaching 19th in the UK album charts." (c)lastfm

Late Night Alumni - Haunted (2011)
"Haunted is LNA's third album, and it is utterly fantastic, as expected. It doesn't quite top Empty Streets, but it certainly bests Of Birds, Bees, Butterflies, Etc... (which was a great album as well). That being said, Haunted is quite different in feel than either of their preceding works, but of the two, it is closer to Empty Streets. Most of the songs have a melancholy note, which is a huge plus in my book; this album oozes emotion and takes you to different places. If you like music with feeling and meaningful lyrics, look no further. Heck, if you like music, look no further."

Deep underground in Switzerland.......in a tunnel 27k's long..engineers and scientists from all over the world have constructed a circle which is an experiment, to find the origin of the Universe by simulating what happened after the BIG Bang.
By firing Protons in opposite directions along the tunnel, they can anaylise the information of the millions of collisions the atoms and molecules create as they collide with each other at almost the speed of light to find a clearer picture of what happened at the beginning of Time.
This information will give scientists a clearer picture of how the Universe was created, searching for what has been known to be called the God Particle. Shpongle, with Benji Vaughan by our side, have simulated the sound of this experiment to the music of Shpongle.
Faster and faster till explosions fill the void, and propel us and the listener to a new dimension in sound. This is a unique piece of electronic music, breaking the barriers ,and pushing forward experimental adult dance music. Speeds ranging from 23 BPM to 173 BPM...hurl the listener into unfamiliar and unconventional sound voyages, where serious endorphic changes happen to the listener, which results in a complete unusual physical and mental mind set...one is never going to be the same or listen to music in the same way ever again.
This is a breakthrough event...particles and atoms neutrons and other sounds result in weird highness and high weirdness...bringing a new exciting bar raising epic from Shpongle. This is not your normal cup of tea, and one will change while listening to this maelstom of beauty and surprise, but one will have to repeat the experiment time and time again to reveal the new exciting levels of far out musical adventures.
