Fundamentally “A History of Now” is a powered-up meditation on the modern world, asking what kind of people we are becoming (“Urgency / Frequency “ ) and warning us about the dangers of becoming slaves to ever mutating new technology (“Futureproof”).

There is a Japan only tribute to the great city of Tokyo, and also a special appearance by original ADF bassist Dr. Das on “This Land is not for Sale”. Whether we like it or not weʼre ALL living in the History of Now , so who could be a better guide than Asian Dub Foundation …"

Schiller - Die Einlassmusik 7 (2011)

Schiller - proiectul numit in cinstea poetului german din sec XVIII- cunoscut pentru stilul sau original...uplifing melodic trance.. si care in principiu niciodata nu a reusit sa-mi provoace un interes sau sa impresioneze gusturile mele in muzica.
Am dat peste albumul asta, as usual, intamplator. Fiind unul din f. putinele releasuri aparute in 2011, iar plictiseala prea mare.. fara prea mari dubii a ajuns in playlist.

Prima impresie a fost ca pana ajung la sfarsitul albumului o sa cad in depresie si o sa incep sa-mi sun vrajitorii din oz in cautarea unui remediu..
Lounge/ chill ..si totusi prea sumbru.. melancolic.
Senzatie asemanatoare cu o plimabre dimineata intunecata, dupa afterparty, printr-un parc acoperit de zapada in care timpul si orice forma de viatsa s-a oprit..fara ganduri..fara dorintse..fara destinatie.

Insa dupa 2 piese organismul a deschis portalurile compatibile cu darkwave.. iar ziua de munca si-a incetat dreptul la existenta.

Cu tot respectul pentru Vibrasphere, Sync24, Carbon Based Liform, I Awake, nu prea am postat muzica formatiilor pe care ii reprezinta Ultimae.(singura exceptiea fiind Solar Fields).
Asa ca, mi-am propus sa adaug mai multe elemente de psy in maisonul de silence de aici :) Incepem cu Asura.
