"Who are they? Where are they? And more particularly what are they? If you really wonder, these few lines won't be that useful...

One‐quarter Cantonese, two‐thirds Manchou, the Chinese man appears to be from the Wu Tang Mountain, not far from Marseilles, France. In 2004, the Chinese man (as we affectionately call him) decided to send his disciples around the world to spread the Zen spirit with old music samples and supersonic bass !


Thus, Sly, Zé Mateo and High Ku left their master, ready to face the mission they had been entrusted with.


In 2005, the three companions committed their first phonographic havoc. "THE PANDI GROOVE EP", a mix of influences back from their parents : Reggae, Brazilian Baile Funk and Old School Hip Hop... With the Mistral in their back, the band expanded on the creation of a 2nd maxi with the participation of Leo Le Bug (an unconditional producer fed with psychedelic 70's Hip hop) and polymorph toasters from the band "Bionic Man Sound ". »THE BUNNI GROOVE EP now confirms the previous oracles, the YI King speaks and it is the fire that falls from the sky.

After «THE INDI GROOVE EP", Chinese Man has released his first CD compilation of those vinylistic misdeeds. Released in 2007, "The Groove Sessions Vol. 1" is a first retrospective in 12 tracks of the adventures of the Chinese Man and his disciples.



On the eve of the release of the second volume of "Groove Sessions", the Chinese Crew has been tirelessly preparing a new offensive on stage; High Ku, Sly and Zé Mateo have sharpened their swords. Lurked in the shadow, they are waiting, ready to go fighting...

Ugress - Planet U : Planetfall , The Lost Ruins [EP] (2011)

"Planet U is a project from Ugress running through all of 2011, celebrating 10 years as an artist. New EPs are released every few months, and the EP tracks are released continuously, in the end the full album will be out. There is an introduction post explaining the project further.

There is a story behind the Planet, but so far only pieces and fragments have been revealed through the first episodes."

"Episode One and Two are out, almost as scheduled. Episode Three is planned for May. Full album release set for late this year, after the continuous EP releases has ran their course. I'm very happy how this project has turned out to work for me, and appearantly my listeners too. This process is so much better than massive album efforts every other year. Releasing material in this sort of form is much more managable for me to pull off. I get to work on "my" stuff as much as possible, and this geeky "release-early, release-often" cycle gives me lots of valuable information back.

After a few months of film production mentioned above, I will have July and August to finish the whole Planet U project. I'm very much looking forward to those months, disappear and spend some quality time wrapping it up.

After Planet U, I have a huge amount of side-project releases piling up, spring of 2012 is reserved for those. I'm SO very much looking forward to that. If the mayans shut down the universe in 2012 I'll be upset."(c)

Mi-a placut mai putin decat albumul Asura -360, aparut sub egida aceluiasi label. Insa a lasat o impresie placuta si un loc bronat in playlistul de noapte:)
